Kitchen, Microwave

Have you ever found yourself rushing to cook for yourself or a loved one on a quick meal before a night out or after a long day of work. Or microwaved a packet of frozen sauce to spice up a meal and impress that special someone or your family? Only to find out you’ve left it in for too long or didn’t cut enough holes for the air to escape. Then BANG! You have food stuck all over the inside of your microwave.

Well today I’m going to show you how you can quickly and easily get rid of all that food, dirt and grime to have your microwave looking as good as ever.

You will need

To get started you were going to want to make sure you have the following items.

  • A microwavable cup of water
  • Microfibre cloth
  • A teaspoon of lemon juice
A lemong being juiced.
Getting our lemon juice ready.

Instructions

  1. Place a cup of water with some lemon juice into the microwave for 5 minutes.
  2. Once finished remove cup & microwave plate.
  3. Wipe down the inside of the microwave with the microfibre cloth. The steam will help to remove all the grease & grime from inside.
  4. Place the microwave plate in the sink & wash with warm soapy water.
  5. If there is still any residue left then just repeat the process again.
  6. If your microwave has chrome on the outside, clean this with a glass cleaner as it gives the chrome a lovely shine.

There you have it. A fresh clean microwave ready for your next meal without having to spend all night scrubbing away.
